2009 Puget Sound Tribal Implementation Project - Red Creek
The project will replace two fish passage barriers in the Red Creek system affecting upstream migration to spawning and rearing habitat and out-migration of young salmon, while restoring natural hydro-geomorphic processes in the sub-basin that are critically important to successful downstream floodplain restoration activities. The project involves completing engineering design, coordination with private landowners and utilities, obtaining permits, construction of bridge and culvert replacements, and monitoring.
