Project Title & Description
Indian General Assistance Program
Build Tribal capacity by attending trainings, workshops and conferences including Alaska Native Health Board(ANHB), Indian General Assistance Program(IGAP), Alaska Forum on the Environment (AFE) , Hazwoper, and finance management. Strengthen administrative capacity and programmatic capability including an Environmental Assessment, Tribal Environmental Plan and Administrative/Fiscal Assessment. Planning for community outreach including community meeting, newsletters, and posters and school presentations. Initiate can recycling and community clean up. Improve solid waste management through waste separation, hazardous waste collection, planning for backhauling including purchasing of necessary supplies for backhauling.
