Protecting Kenai Peninsula Salmon Streams
This project will collect habitat and water quality data from four important salmon streams on the southern Kenai Peninsula. A stream ecologist will quantify stream discharge, temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, conductivity, total dissolved solids, turbidity, suspended and settable solids, and nutrient levels in the Anchor River, Deep Creek, Ninilchik River and Stariski Creek at least six times throughout the year.
