Project Title & Description
Emission Inventories w/Flux Measurements
Measurements of fluxes of several pollutants (volatile organic compounds, particulate matter, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, and ozone) will be made from a highly instrumented tower in urban Houston, Texas. The fluxes will be compared to current emission inventories to adjust the inventories and the impact of the updated inventory will be tested with an air quality model. Analysis will include source apportionment and detailed traffic information for emissions from traffic.
