Project Title & Description
The Effects of Air Pollution Generated by Power Plants on Breast Cancer Risk in Rockland County-
To evaluate the apparent excess risk of breast cancer in some areas of Rockland County and New York City identified by the New York State Cancer Surveillance Improvement Initiative (2000) in relation to environmental risk factors including distances from local power plants and high voltage power lines as well as demographic and other characteristics of the communities at the census track level.
