To implement a green jobs demonstration project in an Environmental Justice community which will expand upon the current home weatherization training program already in place to include technologies that will improve indoor air quality, reduce energy load, use reclaimed and recycled materials, and native landscaping. It will also incorporate community input and research on skills and credentials needed to address the environmental burdens, and will help in providing environmental equity and help this community reap the economic benefits of the new green economy.
