This assistance agreement provides funding to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009. This project will provide truck stop electrification technology for diesel trucks at three truck stop locations in Georgia creating a total of 85 parking spaces. Emission reduction is expected based on estimated reduction in fuel consumption. This grant will create jobs in the manufacturing, installation, maintenance and repair, and electricity generation industries equating to 1.5 full time positions during the life of the project.
