This amendment extends the budget period to 12/31/2008. This cooperative agreement supports implementation of ecosystem based fisheries management plans of striped bass, shad, blue crab, oysters, and menhaden and the advancement of ecosystem based fisheries management. Under this coordination and facilitation, the outputs from that work will be ecosystem-based management recommendations that will be forwarded to decision-making fisheries and habitat managers. The outcome of this work will be sustainable fisheries in Chesapeake Bay.
