Project Title & Description
Source Reduction Assistance
This action approves an award in the amount of $76,854 to assist the Louisville Water Company (LWC), in cooperation with the Louisville/Jefferson Metro Government in developing educational brochures and pamphlets, training materials, and fact sheets, and to perform training sessions, conduct seminars, and perform demonstrations. The project will reduce lawn chemical usage, conserve energy and water, and reduce air emissions by the use of native grasses, trees, and flowering plants, and the restoration of open fields to the original prairie.
