Coeur d"Alene Tribe: Pesticide Enforcement
The Coeur d'Alene Tribe hosts the Region 10 Pesticide Enforcement Circuit Rider Program. The Tribe works in cooperation with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to provide pesticide enforcement under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act and provides coverage for 6 inland Northwest Tribal Governments including the Coeur d'Alene Tribe, Spokane Tribe of Indians, Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, Nez Perce Tribe, Kootenai Tribe of Idaho, and Kalispel Tribe of Indians. The Tribes share program benefits and knowledge with the other Tribes while assisting the EPA in providing a cost-effective coverage of all six reservations.
