Water Quality Monitoring Project for the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary
Supports a comprehensive long-term status and trends monitoring project consisting of 154 stations located throughout the Florida Keys Sanctuary. Objectives to determine the sources of pollution causing or contributing to existing or anticipated pollution problems in the Sanctuary; to evaluate the effectiveness of efforts to reduce or eliminate those sources; and to evaluate progress toward achieving and maintaining water quality and toward protecting the coral reefs and other living marine resources of the Sanctuary. This action will add an additional study area along the SW Shelf.
