City of Lincoln Air Pollution Emission Reduction
This project will be retrofitting 12-17 large diesel-powered trucks owned and operated by the City of Lincoln with diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs). The purpose of retrofitting the diesel-powered trucks is to reduce air pollution in Lancaster County. There is an expected emissions reduction of 25-50% (Particulate Matter, Volatile Organic Compounds, and Carbon Monoxide), therefore improving the long-term health and environment of citizens in the Lincoln/Lancaster area.
