Project Title & Description
Community Conservation Assistance
This project will provide a tool kit of educational assessment, planning and implementation tools for Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCD) and other local organizations to assist communities to inventory and address their environmental concerns, particularly related to Non-Point Source (NPS) pollution and its impacts on local water quality. Training will be provided to SWCDs and other local organizations where these and other state tools will be distributed. Having access to these resources will improve their ability to carry out effective local NPS pollution control and prevention activities.
