Project Title & Description
ANTHC Alaska Tribal Air Quality Assessment and Support Project
ANTHC will work directly and with Alaska tribes to increase understanding about the causes and available options to address local air pollution in rural tribal communities in Alaska from sources such as wood burning, road dust, solid waste burning, and diesel emissions, as well as indoor air conditions. The work with tribes will include technical and programmatic support for tribal staff and communities through development and use of assessment tools, monitoring technology, interships, training, and outreach. Priority will be given to activities that develop the skills and abilities of tribal communities and their members.
