EMPACT-Technology Transfer: NY Lake Access Project
A Cooperative Agreement to enable the Lake George Association, in conjunction with Darrin Fresh Water Institute and the Upstate Freshwater Institute (UFI), to install and operate Remote Underwater Sampling Station (RUSS) units in three upstate New York Lakes to supplement ongoing monitoring efforts. The data collected by the RUSS units will be made available to the participating communities via the Internet. The monitoring data will be used to inform the residents in efforts to better understand and manage their waterbody.
