Maps

Back

Maps showing the vulnerability of U.S. coastal lands to sea level rise.

Elevation Maps

  • State-Level Maps: depicting the shoreline, 1.5-meter, and 3.5-meter contours, for the U.S. Atlantic and Gulf Coasts.
  • Local Maps (1:24,000 scale): digital elevation maps of the U.S. coastal zone, using the best elevation data that is reasonably obtainable. Note that this work is in progress and new maps will be added periodically as they are completed.
Sea Level Rise Planning Maps

Maps that depict—at the county level—the land likely to be protected from rising sea level and the land likely to be inundated. EPA is developing these maps to improve assessments of potential impacts and to help coastal decision makers plan for sea level rise.
