Funding

Back

Financial assistance is available from EPA, other federal agencies, states and private foundations to support actions which directly or indirectly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Assistance programs are designed to help individuals, community groups, small businesses, nonprofits, state and local government and tribes overcome the financial and technical obstacles to initiating and developing projects or programs.

EPA's State and Local Climate Change Program compiled these financial assistance opportunities from public and non-profit grant information resources. Please note that the information provided here is not a substitute for each program's solicitation notice or application requirements. See the reference page for links to federal grant application instructions, financing information, and suggestions and guidance for preparing grant proposals.
