- An updated Heat Island Effect page features video segments on the health effects and mitigation of the urban heat island effect that were created through a partnership between EPA and The Weather Channel: Forecast Earth.
- Climate change information sorted by geography is now available in the Where You Live area of the site.
- Flash animations of Global Warming and Earth Processes and interactive quizzes are now available on the Kids Site. See animations of how Global Warming occurs, the Carbon Cycle and Global Warming, and the Water Cycle and Global Warming--then test your knowledge.
