Background Documents for Solid Waste Management and GHG Report
| |
EPA developed life-cycle emission factors for 12 material types as described in Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Management of Selected Materials in Municipal Solid Waste and its addenda. Since the publication of the latest report in 2002, EPA has expanded its emission factors to include 33 material types. The documents used to develop and update these emission factors are listed below and can be viewed in PDF format by clicking on the titles. Emission factors are continuously being updated and are reflected in the most current versions of the WARM and ReCon tools.
