| 8:15 am – 8:30 am | Welcome & Opening Remarks
Roger Fernandez, Natural Gas STAR Program
| 8:30 am – 9:00 am | EPA Natural Gas STAR Program - An overview of the Natural Gas STAR Program, its successes to date and details on how to access its benefits.
| 9:00 am – 9:30 am | Methane Savings from Compressors - This presentation outlines the technical and economic decision making process for replacing worn compressors components, which cause natural gas losses, and describes the potential operational benefits, reduced methane emissions, and cost savings achieved.
| 9:30 am – 10:00 am | Reduced Emissions Completions - This presentation will cover reduced emissions techniques that remove sand, cuttings, and liquids during a completion to recover gas that is normally vented to the atmosphere.
| 10:00 am – 10:15 am | Break

| 10:15 am – 10:45 am | New Mexico Strategies for Reducing GHG Emissions - This discussion focuses on progress on the Oil & Gas Emissions Reduction study that is underway in NM. NM is developing rules to regulate GHG emissions, which includes the oil and gas industry for which methane will be a principal target for emissions reduction.
| 10:45 am – 11:15 am | Directed Inspection and Maintenance (DI&M) and Infrared Leak Detection - A detailed review of implementing a DI&M program at production facilities to detect, measure, prioritize and repair leaks to reduce methane emissions. Emphasis will be placed on using optical imaging to aid in leak detection.
| 11:15 am - 11:45 am | Producer Best Management Practices (VRU/Smart Automation) - This presentation will cover several cost-effective methane reduction opportunities, including installing vapor recovery units on crude oil and condensate storage tanks and using smart automation systems on natural gas wells with plunger lifts. Details of the implementation decision process, cost and benefit information, and practical implementation tips will be provided.
| 11:45 am - 12:30 pm | Lunch
Compliments of Williams Production Company.
| 12:30 pm - 1:15 pm | Natural Gas Dehydration - This presentation provides an overview of methane emissions and reduction opportunities for producers during natural gas dehydration. The presentation will include discussion of both glycol dehydrators as well as desiccant dehydrators.
| 1:15 pm - 1:45 pm | Emissions Management of Ancillary Equipment - EnCana will discuss their experience in reducing emissions from ancillary equipment.
| 1:45 pm - 2:30 pm | Panel Discussion and Closing Remarks
| 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm | New Onshore Rig Technology/Production Facility Tour
Rulison Gas Field, Williams Production RMT Co. - Visit the FlexRig4s, a state of the art drill rig – the most advanced rig on shore today! The goal is to demonstrate a “green completion” if possible. Transportation will depart directly from the workshop at Hotel Colorado and return by 6 pm. Please wear closed toe, hard top shoes if you plan to attend.
