Tijeras Air Toxics Monitoring and Assessment Project

Printer-friendly version

The primary goal of the Tijeras project is to determine whether air toxics and PM are causing health problems on an elementary/middle school campus. The campus is located in a narrow valley, in close proximity to a cement plant, as well as a major freeway with heavy diesel truck traffic. This project will enable the City of Albuquerque's Environmental Health Department to monitor for HAP and PM.
