Course Description
This course presents the basic mathematics required to work with and understand ambient air measurements. It is a good review for students with some engineering or scientific background. Presentations will cross disciplinary lines of mathematics using illustrations and examples to refresh your memory. The course is a prerequisite to APTI Classroom Courses 413, 415, 427, 450 and 474

- Units conversion and rounding to appropriate accuracy or precision
- Basic principles of geometry
- Basic principles of trigonometry
- Creation and interpretation of graphs
- Basic statistics

| After completing this course a test is available. If you receive a score of 90% or better, you will receive a certificate of completion, which can be printed at your desktop. If you do not pass the test, you may retake the test as many times as you like by returning to the main menu and clicking on the test link. |
