Prepared by the Design for the Environment (DfE) program. Results of a demonstration project conducted at the New York School of Dry Cleaning. Project involved cleaning 1500 garments using either traditional drycleaning with PCE or and alternative wet cleaning process. Garments were assigned randomly to one of the two process. Data were then used to conduct and economic feasibility study of the two processes.
