Keywords Participating Organizations Report Details Summary This study is the first research to combine site-level risk data and remediation cost information with 1990 census data to derive estimates of the expected number of cancer cases and costs per life saved implicit in expenditures at a sample of Superfund sites. The sensitivity of estimated risks to changes in risk assessment assumptions is examined through Monte Carlo Analysis. The distributions of risks by demographic group are also explored in an analysis of environmental equity.
