EPA has released its strategy, Plan EJ 2014, to protect people’s health and the environment in communities overburdened by pollution.

Environmental Justice (EJ) is the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies. Read more about Environmental Justice

EPA Recognizes Oregon Environmental Justice Task Force

EPA presents award to the Oregon Environmental Justice Task Force

The Oregon Environmental Justice Task Force was recognized for their effective implementation of Oregon State environmental legislation and task force initiatives which incorporate environmental justice considerations into state agencies’ programs. EPA Regional Administrator Dennis McLerran presented the award on Friday, Dec. 16th at the Capital Building in Salem, Oregon.
