Puget Sound Funding Opportunities

sample newbie code

EPA has received $20 million as part of the 2009 federal budget to support efforts to protect and restore Puget Sound. We expect the budget for fiscal year 2010 (which began on October 1, 2009) will include additional funds for Puget Sound water quality programs.

Most of the funds will be used for financial assistance to state, local and Tribal governments for their efforts to implement the 2020 Action Agenda. The Action Agenda was approved by EPA in summer 2009 as the Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan for Puget Sound under the EPA’s National Estuary Program.

Funding opportunities are listed below. After awards are made, we will post approved work plans and progress reports from each recipient.
