The following are EPA mandates written to control the emission of hazardous air pollutants (HAP).
There are currently 188 HAPs that are regulated by the EPA.
Section 112 of the Clean Air Act Amendments delegates authority to the states for much of the enforcement of these federally imposed regulations.
