Tribal Air: Treatment in the Same Manner as a State


The Clean Air Act authorizes EPA to treat eligible federally-recognized Indian Tribes in the same manner as a state for implementing and managing air quality programs.

Eligibility Determinations and the Tribal Authority Rule
