Region 10 hydrogeologists provide expertise for multiple disciplines. These disciplines include geology, hydrology and geochemistry, among others. Typically the hydrogeologist works towards developing conceptual models that are used in characterizing the fate and transport of the targeted elements or compounds of interest. Hydrogeologists work with various media, including surface water, ground water, and surface and subsurface rocks, soils and sediments.
