EPA, along with the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, the Columbia River Toxics Reduction Working Group, and the Umatilla Soil and Water Conservation District, hosted a one day workshop on May 13 in Pendleton, Oregon, to:
- Exchange information with local watershed groups and others on toxics reduction in the Columbia River Basin;
- Exchange ideas about individual actions to reduce toxics;
- Discuss the Columbia River Basin State of the River Report for Toxics;
- Share successful toxics reduction work efforts.
