Portland Harbor - T4
Terminal 4 is a site owned by the Port of Portland on the north side of the Willamette River. Over the years, it has come to be contaminated with a mixture of pesticides, PCBs, metals, and PAHs which are the subject of the early action cleanup.
Terminal 4 Sediment Cleanup Open House
The Port of Portland will begin cleaning up contaminated sediment at marine Terminal 4 in north Portland later this summer. The action, which is overseen by the Environmental Protection Agency, will include dredging, capping of contaminated sediment, and bank stabilization along the Willamette River.
Learn more about this ongoing project and efforts to clean up sediment in the Portland Harbor Superfund site by attending an informative open house and talking to project staff.
