Remedial Investigation and Feasibilty Study
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has prepared a Draft Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study (RI/FS) Scoping Plan (PDF, 40pp) for the Upper Columbia River Site located in northeastern Washington state.
This document presents a technical scoping plan and road map for the completion of a Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) RI/FS for the Upper Columbia River Site. It is important to emphasize, however, that the details regarding each of the RI/FS tasks presented in Section 1.3 of this scoping plan will be developed in future planning documents. Those planning documents will be made available as they are developed.
