On August 8, 2005, the final PSD permit for the Wanapa Energy Center was signed by Richard Albright, Director, Office of Air, Waste and Toxics, EPA Region 10.
EPA’s final determination regarding this permit consists of:
- Final PSD Permit No. R10PSD-OR-05-01
- Response to comments that summarizes the comments received, responds to the comments, and indicates those approval conditions that have changed from the preliminary permit determination.
On September 9, 2005, the Environmental Appeals Board (EAB) received a petition to review EPA's final determination to issue the permit. The permit is effective as of February 9, 2006, when the EAB denied review of the petition.
