 | The Federal Air Rules for Reservations (or FARR) is a basic set of federal air rules that apply within the exterior boundaries of 39 Indian Reservations in Idaho, Oregon and Washingtonn in order to protect human health and the environment.
These rules “level the playing field” and ensure that residents within the boundaries of the reservations enjoy air quality protection similar to that existing outside the reservations.
