About the Summit
The Air Toxics Summit brings together federal, state, provincial, local and tribal air quality professionals with their community and academic partners to share solutions to air toxics challenges throughout the western United States and Canada.

What Are Our Objectives?
- Share challenges and solutions to air toxics problems in our communities
- Explore areas of growing concern, including health risk, mercury, woodsmoke climate change, environmental justice, diesel and biofuels, indoor air and radon;
- Learn new tools, new technologies, and new approaches for assessing and reducing risk.

What is the Summit Structure?
The Summit is held over four days and includes many concurrent conference sessions (1.5 hours each), training sessions, a poster session, and evening social activities. Training sessions are held on the first and last day of the Summit, and will be provided free of cost for every registered participant or presenter.
Conference sessions could include areas such as: Burning (Ag, forest, residential – backyard and indoor), Community Involvement; Diesel and Biofuels; Agriculture and Air Quality Issues; Multi-pollutant Strategies and Co-benefits of Air Toxics Reductions; Indoor Air and Radon; Point Source Controls (NESHAPs, MACT); Mercury; Modeling, Monitoring and Inventory; Cummulative Health Risk; and Climate Change.

When is the Summit?
The summit will be held in Boise, Idaho on August 5-6, 2008 with pre and post-summit training sessions held on the afternoon of August 4th and morning of August 7th.

Where is the Summit?
The summit will be hosted at the Doubletree Riverside Hotel in Boise, Idaho
Reservations must be made by individual call-in no later than Sunday, July 6, 2008. Individuals seeking reservations should call 208-343-1871 and identify themselves with the group “Air Toxics Summit” to receive the group rate of $85.00/night.
