Based on this information OSC Nalipinski was deployed on Friday during which time a site reconnaissance was conducted. Mini suma air samples were also collected.
On Tuesday July 18, 2006 OSC Nalipinski and START deployed to the site and conducted air screening with a TVA 2000 and tedlar bags which were analyzed by a field lab. Based on the screening results 20 eight hr suma canisters were located. Results are due the last week of July. Also on Tuesday, DEP's contractor installed a soil vapor extraction system for the buildings where the indoor air quality was near the acute action level.
