Description
This facility, which is now closed, was a former pharmaceutical chemical manufacturer. It is presently the subject of a National RCRA/Brownfiields Pilot to determine whether early public input as to site use would enhance the final remediation of the site. The public is being involved in this Pilot process. The facility is currently in the "RFI" stage (field investigation to determine nature and extent of contamination on-site)stage of a RCRA CA , which was required pursuant to an EPA RCRA order, and has also implemented several Interim Corrective Measures ("ICMs"), including a groundwater pump and treat system, aimed at alleviating threats to health or the environment caused by on-site contamination.
