Current Status
CMEDA’s Brownfields program has had several successful projects, including a new $15 million, 129-room Marriot Courtyard Hotel on the site of a former steel foundry in Worcester and a new Blackstone River Valley Visitors Center on former industrial land, also in Worcester. They have also completed a Phase II assessment of the former Mass 10 property. No loans were made under the CMEDA Revolving Loan Fund program.
The Revolving Loan Fund was closed on January 8, 2002 and the Assessment Grant was closed on September 27, 2004.
