Description
Clean Harbors, Inc. of Connecticut, Inc., 51 Broderick Rd., Bristol, CT. The facility was used to store and treat a variety of liquid and solid wastes including waste oils, aqueous wastes bearing acids, heavy metals, cyanide and phenols. The facility completed a site investigation by 1996. At that time, EPA initiated a process for a final remedy decision and sought State concurrence on the remedy decision.
Current Status
The facility currently operates as a regulated TSD facility. With the authorization of the State of Connecticut for Corrective Action, the State is responsible for determining Corrective Action requirements for the facility in a Part B operating permit.
