Description
O&G Industries, Bridgeport, CT is currently a commercial showroom and storage yard for inert material including dimension stone, aggregate, brick, pipe (clay, metal and PVC) and patio block. Bridgeport Plating Company formerly conducted electroplating operations at the facility, specializing in the plating of decorative items, light fixtures and wall plates. The primary waste streams were plating waste, metal hydroxide sludge, waste solvent and oils. This former storage and disposal facility operated an unlined hazardous waste lagoon. Corrective Action is being conducted under the CTDEP Property Transfer Act.
