Available Workflows
- Webmast1step – a workflow that allows anyone in the webmaster group to publish a file directly to buckeye without going through additional approval steps. This provides the ability to respond to urgent requests for web posting.
- Author_Approver (2 Step Workflow). Workflow that moves the file from the author to an approver. After the file is approved it moves to Active (public server).
- Author_Approver_Webmaster (3 Step Workflow). Workflow that moves the file from author > approver > webmaster. This allows the webmaster to make any last edits such as adding a missing Exit EPA tag to a link leaving the EPA site. After the webmaster approves the file, it moves to Active (public server).
- ApplyPresentation - When there’s a change in the areanav file or if there’s a change in metadata then the apply presentation work flow needs to be run to update a file. For example: You added a new sidebar link. You would update the index.html page and the new page immediately and pubilsh. The remainder of the site is updated overnight.
- EPA_ApplyAreaNavChanges - When there’s a change in the areanav file that you want to apply to every file, use EPA_ApplyAreaNavChanges. 1) You have to publish the areanav.xml file using the webmaster1step work flow. Then you select 1 xml content file and choose the EPA_ApplyAreaNavChanges. As you refresh the folder, you'll see that the change will apply to all the files in the folder that use that areanav file. The time stamp changes. The remainder of the site is updated overnight. If you want to push everything immediately (and it's not recommended) then you use the multifile method of publishing files.
