Content Review and Approval Process
|
Beginning at the concept stage, all Web content must be reviewed and approved by the Office of Public Affairs. Follow the guidance at OPA's Product Review site. As described at that site, do not draft materials until OPA has approved the concept.
In addition to submitting concepts and drafts to OPA for review, the originating office should register each site in the metadata database to get optimal results from the search engine. Information on completing metadata can be found at
http://www.epa.gov/webguide/metadata/.
Note: a new TSSMS normally cannot be seen outside the EPA network. If you have created a new TSSMS for your materials, you must notify OPA so that upon approval, they can alert OEI to remove the block.
