Description
The Texas LoanSTAR program provides low-interest loans for: energy efficient lighting systems; high efficiency heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems; computerized energy management control systems; boiler efficiency improvements; energy recovery systems; and building shell improvements for educational institutions and state agencies.
Amounts
Revolving loan fund. Interest rates are currently set at 3% APR.
Eligibility
Texas State agencies, institutions of higher education, school districts, and local governments.
