Description | The CEC Small Grants Innovation Program is intended to determine the feasibility of energy technology and science innovations for new energy concepts for which feasibility is not yet established. The Energy Innovations Small Grant (EISG) Program provides funding to small businesses, nonprofits, individuals and academic institutions to help conduct research that establishes the feasibility of new, innovative energy concepts. Research projects must target one of the six program areas: Industrial/Agriculture/Water End-use Efficiency; Building End-use Efficiency; Environmentally Preferred Advanced Generation; Renewable Generation; Energy-Related Environmental Research; or Strategic Energy Research. The projects must address a California energy problem and provide a potential benefit to California electric ratepayers. |

Description | The California Energy Commission provides loans for installing energy-saving projects. The fixed low-interest loans support projects with proven energy and/or capacity savings such as lighting; heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems; cogeneration systems, pumps, and motors; and renewable energy projects. |
